Fielder & Associates architectural firm was established by Tom Fielder in 1976 with
an emphasis on solar applications for affordable housing developments. Since that
time, the firm has completed over 120 housing communities ranging in size from small
single-family homes to large high-rise apartment structures. Our projects include
award-winning single-family luxury homes; HUD Section 202 apartments for seniors;
LIHTC assisted communities; bond financed properties and Rural Development apartment
complexes.
As architects and attorneys, Fielder understands the regulatory and construction
standards for LEED certified building for single-family and multifamily residential
development, commercial development and rehabilitation and historic renovation projects.
Fielder's experience from all sides of the business of development and rehabilitation
as developer, architect, attorney, market consultant and developer consultant ensure
a uniquely comprehensive approach to their client’s proposals. The firm’s continuing
work in housing includes historic preservation; adaptive reuse of existing buildings;
modernization of public housing; programming and design of non-profit special needs
projects and the creation of housing under the U.S. Green Building Council LEED
for Homes program.
